A weekend with " Washi tape , double page Masters Challange Spread"

Wowsers.... what a mouthful that title was lol..

Helllooooo....

Well today I thought I would share by double layout that I created for my Scrapbooking Memories Masters Magazine application... As the long winded title suggests the criteria for this layout, was to create a double page spread, although the layout had to be about some type of adventure. Wether that was in a physical form or spiritual - it was totally up to interpretation..

At first I was going to create a layout about my journey over the last 7 years, from being single to now a mother of two children and a wife. As I was looking for photos to represent this journey I actually came across these photos from a very random road trip our little family took. We had an awesome day and for once I was in front of the camera with the children and hubby taking the photos. So instantly I changed my mind and decided to use these photos...

Sorry the end of the layout is cut off :-/ must work on photographing that better

I decided to also try and use up some of the growing mountain of washi tape I have around the traps , and I absoloutly love all this chevron, so I decided to make a colourful washi taped chevron pattern for the back ground..

I found the perfect thickers to use , but they were so old they lost all their stickiness form the back, so I simply ran the sewing machine over them .

I love that I was able to pull out some older items like the butterfly transparency, and the gorgeous Jillibean "happy and family " sticker...

Thanks so much for taking a peek and I love to read your comments and encouragement..

Till next time
Much love
Bernii xx
