A weekend with " Beautiful" layout for CUT to YOU

 welcome back to my little part of the blogging world. Today I have a new layout share for you for the CUT to YOU design team using the gorgeous " Lotus Bud Floral cut file" . I challenged myself to use a patterned paper background, and I have to say I love the way it turned out with the soft Lotus Bud floral cut file that just compliments the paper perfectly. 

Let me show you what I have created .

I used the latest Kitaholics Kit main kit which featured Pink Paislee papers with these gorgeous soft water colour effects. To add to the softness of the layout I decided to back the Lotus Bud floral cut file with the soft pink paper.

 Overall, the Lotus Bud cut file did most of the embellishing on the page for me and I love how it turned out. Then the "Beautiful" title was the perfect sentiment to finish the layout.

A weekend with " Blossom" Layout for CUT to YOU.

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world.  I have a new layout share for you today for the CUT to YOU design team using the gorgeous "Blossom" cut file which I had so much creating with . With Spring just around the corner, I have been looking forward to the warmers days and the beautiful blooms that will be sprouting up everywhere. As I love the brighter colours of Spring it was a no brainer to use the gorgeous and delightfully bright Cocoa Vanilla Studio "Bohemian Dream collection". 

So let me show you what I have created.

I don't usually use pattern papered back grounds but I am a sucker for purple and when I ended up backing the cut files , it really made them stand out when they were placed against the purple. 

I also tend to mount my backed cut filed onto foam tape but decided for this layout not too. The backed flowers were already standing out so didn't need the extra help with foam tape. 

I should mention also that I did cut the BLOSSOM cut file twice as I wanted two of the floral clusters to help frame the photos. If you love florals as much as I do you can check out this specific cut file HERE, or other gorgeous floral cut files HERE.

A weekend with " Loads of Fun" layout for CUT to YOU.

Hi there Bernii here with you today to share a layout with you, which I have to say has become one of my favourites and more so my little man. 

This layout was created for the CUT to YOU design team . So let me just jump straight in and show you what I have created.

I have been hoarding this BoBunny collection for some years now just waiting for the perfect scrappy moment and this was it. I love that I can use my older collection and give it a fresh spin using this page builder set.

Dropping in today to share a DT layout for the CUT to YOU blog. I have been loving making layouts using the larger titles that Gwen has been creating as they make using a 12 x 12 page fill out so much easier . 

So let me show you what I have created.

I love how this layout came together and for some reason I have been really drawn to softer colours of late and for this title the soft colours were just perfect. It just added to the sentiment so sweetly.

A weekend with " We Are Family" layout for Flutterby Designs

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world. 

I am here with you today to share with you my latest layout that I created with the filler cards from the " We Are" collection, for Flutterby Design. This was a layout that I pulled together using the left over pieces from my stash. I love how it turned out and how the white background really helps the bright colours of the card to pop. 

 I cut down the filler cards to 4 x 4 inches and then cut those in half again to create a triangle. I was inspired by a quilt magazine and pin wheels that have been popping up in my news feeds.

A weekend with " Art" layout for Cut to You design team.

Hellloooo and welcome to my little part of the blogging world again..

I am here with you today to share a layout using the gorgeous All Around Floral Background cut file for the Cut To You design team which you can spot in the store HERE. I have even manged to create a process video which you can check out HERE over on my channel.

I just love anything floral and this cut file seemed the perfect fit for this layout featuring my daughter and her friend at an art class together. It reminded me of the flowers that the girls painted in their pictures . I cut two of these cut files out to create the layout as I wanted it to spread out towards the two corners of the layout. 

I used an older collection from Illustrated Faith as it added the right pops of colour that I needed to help make these pictures pop.

A weekend with " You are my Stars" layout for Cut To You

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world.

Today I have a layout share for you on behalf of the Cut To You design team. Today I am using this amazing background cut file " All of my Stars" which you can find HERE.  As soon as this cut file was released I knew I had to cut it and had the perfect photos to team with it. 

So let me show you what I have created today. 

I have to say I love how this layout turned out and am so glad that the new Cocoa Vanillia 

" Happiness" collection arrived on my doorstep from Kitaholics Kits. This background paper was so fun to create on, but I did have to be mindful on how to colour block the cut file. 

To help get this cut file to stand out a little more I backed it with double sided foam tape, and then sprinkled around some black ink splatters.

A weekend with " Autumn" layout for Cut To You

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world. I have a layout share for you today using one of the Cut To You's page builder cut files. I love the versatility of these page builders and love that it all co-ordinates so beautifully together. 

So let me show you what I have created with the Autumn Page Builder cut file you can grab from the site HERE. 

I have been hoarding this sweet collection Oh Darling from Crate Paper for a long time, and it it matched so perfectly with this cut file set. Initially I was going to create a page more based around Autumn colours , but then the mint green and pink just inspired me to go another way. 

I didn't need to use much else to embellish the page as the cut file set did most of that for me. I LOVE these page building sets and am already planning out the next layout I will create with another set.

A weekend with " You are my Sunshine" layout for Cut To You.

Welcome back to my little part in the blogging world..

Thanks so much for joining me here today! I have a layout share for you for the Cut To You design team using their gorgeous YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE title from their " Words and Titles" category!! I teamed it with the Kitaholics April kit which features lot of the gorgeous new " Happiness" collection.  

So let me show you what I have created. 

When I saw that Gwen released this cut file I KNEW I had to use it!! There is no truer sentiment that I feel about my two little babes . To help it stand out a little more off the page I added double sided foam tape to the back of the title. 

I also decided this time to just back the cut file with only one colour to also help it stand out more.

A weekend with " Pool" layout using Kitaholics April kit.

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world this Sunday!

Today I have a layout share with you using the AMAZING new Kitaholics Kits main kit, for April. I have only just become a subscriber and this is the first kit in the mail that I received and I have been devouring it with all my creative juices. The kit is full of Cocoa Vanilla Studio " Happiness" collection and it speaks to my rainbow loving heart.  This month there is a mood board for inspiration , choc full of rainbows in all shapes and sizes..

So let me show you what I have created..

I haven't really cracked out my watercolors lately so really enjoyed getting back into the swing of things with this one. I applied clear gesso, then some sweet little hearts with modelling paste. The colour variation in the background was totally based on the butterflies that I fussy cut from one of the patterned papers in the kit. Hence why I have a lighter and darker blue.

Then to add a little more interested to the background I used the chipboard frames from the kit , prepped them with white gesso and then coloured them in the same watercolours as the background.

A weekend with " Magical " layout for Flutterby Designs.

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world. Today I have a layout share for the Flutterby Design Team.

I have already created a project life spread using this collection which you can see HERE. 

So let me show you what I have created!!

To start with I used the "Got Letters" stencils ( which is on clearance right now for a bargain) on the background using modelling paste . I used the neutral 12 x 12 page from the "Magical AF" paper collection which you can grab in the store HERE. 

I then used some of the Page Tabs and Die cut bits and bobs to help embellish the layout. 

Then to help finish it off I used the most amazing acrylic piece which I wish I had a thousand off. Magical which you can get in the store HERE.

A weekend with " Today " Layout for the Cut to You design team

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world. Today I have a layout share for you using the gorgeous Cut to You background cut file. 

This one is the Star Floral Background and I had Gwen cut it out for me as I don't own a 

12 x 12 cutting machine only the Portrait size. I love that Gwen offers that service so I dont have to miss out!!

So let me show you what I have created. 

I used a much older Dear Lizzie "Lucky Charm" collection for this layout. I have been hoarding this for years as it is so pretty, but I really am making an effort to dig into what I have stashed away here. 

I managed to get into my 6x6 paper pad and one of the larger 12x12 papers that I knew I would never use as a stand alone background. That is what I love about cut files!! I can use all the things and make a dent in my stash and it doesn't look overwhelming.

 I am here with you today to share what I created with the new Magical AF collection, for the Flutterby design team.  which is still available in the store. I am LOVING this collection and all the dreamy colours that Anita created with this one. 

So let me show you what I have created. 

I have a ton of photos here that I need to get scrapping on, so to bulldoze through them all the quickest way that I can I have decided to get back into my project life. 

So the 6x4 and 3x4 Magical AF filler cards worked a treat to get this spread done quickly .

I added some bit and pieces from the die cuts bits and pieces set and I wish I had 20 of these packets as all the pieces are so darn cute!!
