A weekend with " Better together" layout for Sugar Maple Paper co...

I have finally managed to get into my scrap room and get some more layouts photographed and edited for my little blog. 

So today I wanted to share with you another layout

that I made with the Sugar Maple Paper co , Cake for Breakfast kit. 

So let me show you what I created this time around with this kit..

This is a sweet photo of my children with their nanna.. and I love to document the important relationship that my children have with her. I grabbed this doily silhouette cut from the Silhouette store and backed it with little off cuts from the kit. 

To help tie it all in, I added some watercolour in the background using the packing technique. I also created this little bow using the Maggie Holmes metal die and then attached the cute tassel that came in the kit..

A weekend with " Sweet Friends" layout for Sugar Maple Paper Co.

Helloooo..

Welcome again to my little part of the world.. 

The kids here in Australia have been on September school holidays, so that has meant that I have been able to find some time to finally sneak into my craft space and get some layouts done. So this time  I played around some more with my Sugar Maple Paper Co - Cake for Breakfast kit . I am getting so many layouts created with this kit - Just scroll back through to find all the other layouts ) 

I have also managed to create a quick process video to boot which I will link up at the end of this post . 

So let me show you what I have created..

A weekend with " Kind Heart" layout for Scrapping Clearly.

Heelloooooo..

Well today I have a layout share up over on the Scrapping Clearly blog showing you how I used the super pretty Paige Evans - Fancy Free collection.. But more specifically just the one sheet of 12 x 12 paper that has this gorgeous flower pattern which you can find HERE.

To start this layout off I was first inspired by this quote that I found on Pinterest!! I enlarged the quote to fill an A4 sheet as I wanted it to go across the middle of the page. 

I then pulled out my watercolours to first fill in the background letters and then matched them too some embroidery floss. I LOVE my watercolours especially the Loew Cornell ones as the colours become more and more opaque as you apply them... 

This layout did take a little time to complete, but I filled in the time while watching The Bachelor .. ohhh I have loved watching that show and I am eagerly awaiting The Bachelorette to start.. Ill have to make an excuse to make more layouts with stitching on them so I do not feel so guilty while watching reality tv..lol..

"There is this boy" layout for Scrap the Boys design team.

Helloooo

Are you looking for a challenge to play along with before the end of the month runs out???  Well then why not check out the Scrap the Boys site as this months challenge was super fun to play along with. September's challenge is based around this saying..

and requires you have a photo of yourself in there also!!

So I literally used the quote as inspiration to create a large title on my layout and go from there. 

I used the brand new LOVE ALWAYS collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio,  that I picked up from my LSS The Scrap N Patch. As girly as this collection might come across as , I found it super easy to use on this boy layout because of the all the greys in the collection. 

Well I hope that perhaps you might pop on over and play along with us over on the Scrap the Boys challenge site. I love it that I am getting more photos pf my little man scrapped :)

A weekend with " Today" layout for Sugar Maple Paper Co

Well I have another layout share for you today using the gorgeous Cake for Breakfast kit from Sugar Maple Paper co. If you haven't already seen but I have created a couple of layout already using this kit which you can see HERE and HERE. 

Lemme tell ya!! this kit is JAM PACKED with so much scrappy goodness that I have already created 6 layouts and have a TON of goodies left over still!!!! WOW..  And I am so ispired by all the goodies that I just want to keep creating!!

So let me show you what I have created today..

To start this layout I desperately wanted to use this butterfly cut file that I grabbed from the Clique Kits store when I was a guest designer for them. I just love butterflies and I was inspired to back this one with lots of pretty scraps from the kit, and the layout just rolled from there. 

I will say that this layout ended up with a lot more journaling then I thought I would have , so it has kinda taken over the layout..lol.. but that is why we scrapbooking right??? So I am ok with that.. 

Through out my journaling I scattered these cute Fancy Pants floral alphas.. I helped to break up the journaling too and makes it look a little more interesting. 

Because I have been on a stitching kick lately I wanted to hand stitch part of my title , so I added the little "love" word and stitched it with white thread. 

To help blend in all the colours in the butterfly wings , I decided to create a watercolour background , because you know, watercolour helps everything lol.
