A week with "New Blog, Paper Storeis & Srapboutique Challange"

Well if you have visited my page before, you would have noticed now that I have a brand spanking new look, that is sooooo much more me than before!! I LOVE brights and bold colors and I had that before, but as time is moving my taste is evolving and the gorgeous Kellie from Give a girl a .... has created this new look for me which I am still swooning over ♥ If you  love what you see , be sure to pop on over to her Facebook page and show her some love ...

Right so with my new blog design up and running I have been totally inspired to create with the February kit from A piece of cake designs  and normally this is not my normal colour palette, but because the kits are so well put together , creating was an absolute breeze and I LOVED that all I needed was in the kit.. All I did add in the end was a a packet of Dear Lizzie thickers and that's it :)
So I have manged to a LO using this kit that had two challenges incorporated.. This first one was for the Lifestyle challenge over at Scrapboutique  , which is running all year long!! How awesome is that ? So the first challange allowed us to choose from many prompts:

January's prompts
- Title page for your album/journal
- Your Goals for 2013
- Details of your 'One Little Word' http://aliedwards.com/2012/12/one-little-word-2013.html for 2013
- January - A month in Review
- Photo of you or your family members..... with details at the START of year, with an aim to record details at END of Year to see changes!

So I have decided to go with the last prompt and have decided to document my daughter Abigal's first year at school :)  Being that her school uniform is green and gold the "Piece of Cake"kit was perfect to use. Then I decided to use the sketch challenge from Paper Stories to help complete the LO.. I loved this sketch and am so pleased with how well it all came together. I have loads more goodies left from my kit so I am off to create a LO for the Scrap the boys challenge
