A weekend with " Max Brenner" layout for ScrappingClearly

Hellooooo...

and good morning.. 

I am dropping in to share another layout I made with some Heidi Swapp goodies  that you can find in the shop HERE over in the Scrapping Clearly store.. 

So I have been watching with keen interest in the gorgeous scrapbooking layouts I am seeing about, with the hand stitching titles. I have wanted for so long to try it out and finally I bit the bullet and had a go .. and I must say I am so happy with how it turned it out. 

 To start with I cut strips of Heidi Swapp paper and adhered them down with my sewing machine. I then found my favorite font and went ahead and sewed it by hand onto the page. 

I then played around with some gesso and watercolours to create a little mixed media background.

A weekend with "Flower Season" layout for BoBunny DT

Helloooo...

Well, well, well it was my turn to be up on the BoBunny facebook page this week with a little layout that I whipped up simple layout, while practically only using one sheet of patterned paper... "Greenhouse" from the Secret Garden collection. The sheet is full of random circles, so I just fussy cut out the circles and laid them out in a wreath style.

I love it when I can make my stash stretch , especially when it only takes one sheet of paper to be able to create a layout :) I also ran my sewing machine around the wreath just to add some uniformity.. otherwise it just looks like a circle sneeze!!

A weekend "Friend" layout for BoBunny design team.

Well last month for the BoBunny facebook page I created this layout using the gorgeous Secret Garden collection... I decided to get my hands a little dirty and played around with some of the new stickable stencils that have just been released. 

I know I went a little overboard with the blossoms but once I started I found it hard to rein it in a little.. 

Below I used the BoBunny "Friend" chipboard piece, and decided to play around with embossing powders and created a half gold, and half glitter pink title.. I love how it turned out!! I also created some embossed gold butterflies with the BoBunny butterfly stamps.
