Well we have crept into that part of the year where if you love Christmas and you love scrapbooking, then you are most likely completing a December Daily album..
This year I am super excited to be apart of the Design Team for The Stamp Spot and their awesome Documented December kits. I was so lucky and totally inspired when the kit arrived on my door step!!
So much gold and hand made pretties that I literally leafed over and over through all the goodies for a long time!! ohhing and aahhiiinggg over all the hard work Michelle has put into each and every piece in the kit.
This year I have decided to approach my album a little different and keep it more simple so that the gold really stands out. To do this I am going to only have black and white photos and stick to using the gold, white and wood that is in the kit.I have teamed the kit with this gorgeous gold Teresa Collins album that I also picked up from The Stamp Spot HERE. I love this album and I am thinking that this will work better for me as I can still add larger elements as I go along.
To add the "Miller" title to the doily, I backed the doily with a piece of white card stock, glued the thickers with glossy accents for extra hold and then when that was dry i ran it through my sewing machine. I then attached the whole doily to the front cover of the album..
This is the inside of the album.
A little spot for me to write my name and the year that I am completing the album. Or perhaps a little place for e to write a little sentiment I am still undecided on that..
I also altered one of the cards that came in the kit , already made. Michelle has really outdone herself with this kit and has carefully and loving made so many of the elements , like this sequin card below. That will save me so much time overall and will means I will have more time to document and record my memories, rather than faffing about.
I am already loving ho this album feels and can't wait to show you my progress through this month using my kit...
Thanks so much for stopping by .
Till next time
Much love
Bernii xx
