A weekend with " Darling layout"

Helloooo...


Well I have managed to create/ play and catch up on all of my favourite Podcasts over my little child free break.. So before I head off to the sunny Gold Coast for a week holiday with the kids ( tough I know) I have managed to blog most of the layouts that I created.. so let's start with this one :)

This is a photo that I have been hanging onto of my little princess for a couple of years now. She looks so darn cute and tiny here and I remember she was so excited that we were at the beach with some of our extended family..  

I used the Marion Smith Designs papers and LOVED fussy cutting out the little pink and white roses.. 

I also used my Couture Creations dies to help create a few larger blooms ..

I love adding texture and dimension to my layouts so layered on blooms, texture paste and mists..

I love creating flowers with different shaped petals in the one bloom.. I find them so much more interesting and love the different textures and depth that they can add..
