This week over on the BoBunny blog we were asked to mix up a few different collections and create a mash up of sorts ...
I have had this idea in my head lately to create a soft, feminine and pretty floral wreath after seeing the huge fashion trend at the moment of floral head garlands. So when we were asked to create a mix and match card I knew right away I was going to try out my idea. I used the Head Over Heels pink paper as the base of my card and then layered the gorgeous musical sheet paper from the Winter Woodland collection over the top.

Then digging into my trusty BoBunny flower stash, I just layered and layered until I was happy with the layout.
As you can imagine the card is quite bulk and heavy so I added some seam binding tape and twine to make a little tie closure on the side and to add a fun interactive element.
BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Papers: Head Over Heels/Date Night. Woodland Winter/ CoZy
Chipboard: Head over Heels.
Doily: Medium.
Blossoms: Blush Bouquet / Blush Pansy / Blush Daisy.
Then for my second mix and match I created a bold and bright card using three different collections. The gorgeous chevron print that I used as a base of my card is from the Elf Magic collection. I then layered the bright orange and lime green paper from the Fight delight collection. Then to finish it all off I added the sweetest of sweet hearts from the Head Over Heels collection .
Of course some extra little finishing touched like the twine, doily and the gems helps to unify and tie in the different collections as one cohesive card.
This card I made for my husband for this coming Valentine's day. It is masculine enough and the cute heart is a sweet little reminder that I love and cherish him. Perhaps you could try and create a card for your loved one this Valentines day using these same collections .
