A weekend with " My Shnucks" layout for the BoBunny design team .

Helloooo..

I have a BoBunny Design Team layout that I wanted to share with you today that was up on the BoBunny facebook page last week :)

This is another layout that I created with the Butterfly Kisses collection , and I was mainly inspired by all the gorgeous butterflies that I fussy cut from the " Petals" patterned paper.

I also managed to create a process video for this layout which I will link to at the bottom of this post :)

So let me show you what I created...

" My Shnucks" layout by Bernii Miller for the BoBunny design team.

I find using a black and white photo the best for soft pastel colours like this.. and it always seems to be my go to when all else fails.. I LOVE black and white photos.

I haven't seemed to have played so much with my BoBunny Alphabet Silver rub ons.. These rub ons are the BOMB.. if you watch my video you will see how well they rub on, and the shine and shimmer they give off is gorgeous.. The best part also about the rub ons is that they are not compromised when you rub them over different surfaces. As you can see below part of the rub on goes over the doily and it still stays in tact.

A weekend with "if you think my hands are full" layout for Scrapping Clearly.

Heellooo

Welcome Scrappy maidens to my little part of the world..

So glad you could pop in for a little peek..
Well Today I have a layout share for you that was both a labour of pure love, a balls up (for lack of a better term) and in the end a layout I love.. phew... When I first created this layout ( yes you read right) I printed, poked holes, watercolored and even stitched half the layout - to only have it pointed out to me that I was missing words form the quote..lol.. sooooo I had to start all over again.. but that's ok as that meant that I could show you how I created this layout form the beginning.

So I am loving the stitching on layouts trend at the moment.. and I love it even more so that I can incorporate another love of mine in this craft.. embroidery.. I decided to give this a go when I was watching an Erica Thompson youtube video for her #sanrica2016 videos.. It was her Try it Tuesday video and I decided to finally try this technique using the watercolours and stitching..

So let me show you what I have created and I have even included a process video at the end of this blog post where you can feast your eyes on the first layout and then this one lol.. enjoy my balls up ha ha

" If you think my hands are full " layout by Bernii Miller for the Scrapping Clearly design team using the My Minds Eye - On Trend 2 collection.

I based the colours in the stitched title on the My Minds Eye " On Trend 2 " collection which I nabbed from the Scrapping Clearly store HERE. I was totally inspired by Paige Taylor Evans to create this layout when i spotted one of her recents layouts with a huge title just like this..

I have scrapped this picture before but I have this quote hanging in my room and I could not think of a more perfect picture to go with the title, so I had to scrap it once more.. It is by far one of my most fav pictures of the kids and I .

A weekend with " Sketch Challenge" with ScrappingClearly.

Hellooo

Welcome to my little blog..

Well I have been creating up a storm of late, and have been truly inspired by my fellow crafty maidens.. And then I had a double dose of inspiration attack when I received my latest Scrapping Clearly package.. Oh my word!!!  I received the Shimelle Lane Star Shine collection and I may have squealed a little lol.. The colours and patterns are so me. They are rich, bold and bright and I adore it all..

So this month I found some time to play along with this months sketch challenge that you can find HERE

SO let me show you what I created and the sketch.. I also created a process video for this with a little mishap that I managed to fix through out the video..

Sop here goes..

" My Goals" layout by Bernii Miller for Scrapping Clearly design Team using the Shimelle Lane Star Shine collection.

I have this photo that I love of myself with my two sister in laws from late last year with a paint along class we went to in my local town through Shiny Happy Art. We had such fun and even managed to whip up these paintings that now hang proudly in our homes.

The Star Shine collection was a perfect match for this photo.. and I wanted to use as many of the patterned papers from the collection as they all matched so well together.

Half way through the layout I made a plan to change up the layout a little and was worried I was going to completely ruin the layout.. But I managed to save it and love how it turned out.

A weekend with " Grateful" layout for BoBunny Design Team.

Hellooo..

Well I am super excited to share with you another layout that I made with the gorgeous Butterfly Kisses collection for BoBunny. This collection is so pretty and whimsical and I could not wait to create some layouts.. I have also been really inspired lately by all the gorgeous hand stitching I have been seeing cropping up on layouts.. and the white on white look..

anddddd I also ended up making another process video which I have loved dipping my toe into.. so so fun!!!

So let me show you what I created..

" Grateful" layout by Bernii Miller for BoBunny using the Butterfly Kisses collection.

This layout came together really easily for me as the pretty fussy cut pieces were just begging to take attention on the layout.. I fussy cut the large mason jar from the the "Butterfly Kisses" paper, and then the smaller mason jars from the "Joy" paper.  Are they just not the cutest things you have laid eyes on??

Then the pretty flowers and birds I fussy cut form the " petals" paper which I have another sheet here which I intend to frame it's that pretty.

Then my title... I hand stitched this using 6 threads and some DMC white cotton thread.. It did not take too long and I love how it turned out..

If you would like to watch my process I would love for you to check out my YouTube link below .. and if you like what you see make sure you hit the subscribe button.

A weekend with " Sibling Love" layout.

Heeelloooo..

Well I am dropping in with you today to share with you a layout that I made for the BoBunny design team using the new Firecracker collection...  I had a blast using this collection ( see what I did there lol )

This collection is quiet American themed but I managed to work with that and created this layout of my two little rat bags. This is a photo of a day that the kids spent on my craft room floor giggling and carrying on.. Anddddd because it was one of the times that they were kind to each other I had to get a photo ha ha ..

I used lots of Firecracker goodies on here from the Misc Me goodies, chipboard pieces and then the new star stickable stencils.

A weekend with "Love" layout for the Scrapping Clearly design team.

Heeellooooooo...

Well I have been inspired to get creating over these school holidays and have managed to actually create a fair few new layouts.. this one in particular was inspired by Erica Thompson and her Cut File Friday video where she used a Cut Shop heart file for the background.. I was originally going to also use a cut file for the background but then went in a little different direction and came up with this layout.. still inspired by the layout for sure,, and this is my take :)

Up here in Queensland it is our first day back for term 3, so we are no longer on school holidays :( boo!!

But on the upside I managed to create a few new process videos and for this layout I have the video attached to the bottom :)

This layout was made with the My Minds Eye - On Trend 2 collection which you can find over in the Scrapping Clearly store HERE

I created the love heart cluster using the CARDSTOCK stickers, MIXED BAG ephemera and the DECORATIVE BRADS which you can all find if you click on the links.

To create the title for the layout I used the super cute gold glittered thickers from the Crate Paper collection..
They worked perfectly with this MME collection..

I am so happy with how this layout turned out and I am excited that I can show you my process on how it came to be :) I also managed to create a couple pf more layouts inspired by the #sanrica2016 gang, so I will be back to share some more with you soon..

Well thank you so much for stopping by today..  I hope that I have inspired you to play with some My Minds Eye goodies.. Remember you can find everything you need for this layout HERE

A weekend with " Mrs Richards" layout for BoBunny deign team.

Heelllloooooo....

Welcome to my little corner of the world..

I have a new layout share with you today using the BoBunny Butterfly Kisses collection.. which I am totally devouring at the moment.. watch this space as I have a couple of more layouts with process videos to share with it in the coming week/s.

So let me share with you what I have created this time around..

" Mrs Richards" layout by Bernii Miller for BoBunny using the Butterfly Kisses collection.

I was totally inspired this time around by the flower embellishment (under the photo) that I pulled from the Butterfly Kisses Noteworthy packet.

I wanted to somehow add some soft pastel pink to the background and you can see it just peeking out behind the photo and the bottom right cluster.

Again I added in a white stitched title using 6 strands in a white DMC thread. I finished off with some gold glimmer spray and some black ink droplets.

A weekend with " Team Rat Selfie" Layout for ScrappingClearly.

Helloooo..

Well a couple of days ago it was my turn on the
where I was sharing another layout that I made with the gorgeous Heidi Swapp " Hello Gorgeous" 12 x 12 paper pad.. I really am getting a lot of layouts created with this collection..

So let me show you my latest layout...

"Team Rat" layout by Bernii Miller for ScrappingClearly using Heidi Swapp products.

I could not decide on which papers I wanted to use and in the end I wanted to use them all!! So I created a banner that would let me use all bits and pieces from the collection.. To help create the title I used the " Life is Beautiful" sticker sheet from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and teamed it with the teal glitter stickers from Heidi Swapp.

I am so pleased with how this layout turned out and am thinking I will create another layout with these same papers as they are so so pretty!!

Here are the other layouts I also created from the same paper pad that you can check out if you tab back through the blog :)

Well thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you to get out your Heidi Swapp goodies and create something pretty..

Till next time

Much love
