Today I have a new layout and process video share with you with the new Hazelwood collection by 1 Canoe 2 teamed with a gorgeous cut file from the the Neat N Crafty store. I picked out this gorgeous floral kitty cut file which you can purchase HERE. 

This file was perfect to use with two little photos that I had of my girl and our brand new kitty.. So let me show you what I have created and you can also check out the process video at the end of this post..

How stinkin' cute is this cut file huh???

A weekend with " Project Life Week 41"

Welcome back to my little part in the blogging world. 

Today I have a project life layout share with you.. I am madly playing catch up, and this is week 41 from 2013. For this spread I used the Becky Higgins "Spring" Themed Cards which made this spread come together super duper fast :) I then just rifled through some bits and bobs that were on my desk to add a few embellishments that matched..

So let me show you what I have created :)

And here is a closer look. I had a few special little 3x4 cards that my daughter had put stickers on - so too add those to my layout I used a Close to my Heart 3 x 4 clear plastic pocket that adheres right to the top of my and flips up.. I have had these in my stash for a long time and finally pulled them out to use them and I LOVE them!! 

I just stapled on some tabs to the side of the pocket so that it was easy to lift up and know that they are there..

A weekend with " Lovely" travelers notebook instert.

Welcome to my little part of the blogging world!!

Today I have a first layout share in my brand new Traveler's Notebook.. I have jumped on the bandwagon and decided to give these adorable little books a go!! 

But I have decided to take a little different approach and use my notebooks to create miniature scrapbook layouts using pictures that would not necessarily make a full 12x12 layout, but they still have little memories with them that I want to record..

So let me show you what I have created and below I have also attached the process video to go with it also :)

A weekend with " 4 Month Smile" layout for Sugar Maple Paper Co.

Today I wanted to share a layout with you that I made with the Sugar Maple Paper Co " It's raining Men" kit. I LOVE this kit and was so excited to get my hands on the all the gorgeous paper and embellishments that came in this kit. 

I decided to pull all the soft blues/ aquas from this kit and add in little pieces of gold sparkle.

A weekend with " Awesome Summer Fun" layout and process video.

A weekend with " You are loved" for ScrapingClearly.

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world..

Today I have a new layout share with you for the Scrapping Clearly blog, using the fun Bella Blvd- illustrated Faith " Bright and Brave" collection. If you love bright colour then this kit is certainly for you!!!

I used some mixed media in the background with watercolours, gesso and modelling paste. 

The washi tape booklet that comes in this collection is brilliant.. It helps to add the perfect pops of colour andddddd it adheres so well!! even on the background where there is mixed media!!

A weekend with " Darcy" layout for Sugar Maple Paper Co.

Welcome to my part of the blogging world. 

Today I have a layout share with you using the stunning "It's raining Men " kit from Sugar Maple Paper Co. 

This is a fairly simple layout that I created , in that I used minimal papers form the kit as I let the fussy cut flowers do most of the work for me.. 

So let me show you what I created..

As I normally scrap using a white back ground I really wanted to try and have a go at creating a layout using this gorgeous coral piece which is from Pink Paislee. 

I added in some fussy cut flowers from one of the other papers in the kit and layered in some bits and pieces - like the gold and white stripped bag that was usede to hold embelishemtns in. I cut it apart and added it as a photo background instead ..

A weekend with " Love Today" layout for Scrapping Clearly.

Welcome.. to my little part of the blog world...

Today I have a layout share for the Scrapping Clearly design team, and today I am using the super pretty Fancy Free collection designed by Paige Evans for Pink Paislee which you can pick up in store HERE. 

I am down to the last scraps of this gorgeous collection so I wanted to try and create a layout using them up before I retire this collection... So I decided to cut up my scraps into strips and them lay them inside a heart shape. 

So let me show you what I created..

I found this title " Love Today" which was an old cut file that I have had pre cut on my desk for some time, so it was perfect to add to my layout.

A weekend with " Your Arrival" layout using Cocoa Vanilla Studio

Welcome to my little part of the blogging world..

Today I have another layout share with you using the gorgeous Cocoa Vanilla Studio " Love Actually" collection which you can see HERE. 

I really wanted to scrap this photo of my daughters birth arrival photo that I had taken the day she was born; that the hospital took for us. I purchased a pack of photos and this was the large photo from that pack. I wanted to also record the story of her arrival and to tell her how amazed I was at finding out that she was a girl..  I had no clue during my pregnancy the gender of my baby, and I remember the sheer elation at the moment she was placed on my chest and being told she was a girl. It would not have mattered either way - I just think the relief of getting her out of there and the fact that it was a surprise completely overwhelmed me.. So I recorded this memory.. 

So let me show you what I created..

To help balance the large photo I moved the photo a little to the left of the layout, so that I was able to add my journaling to the right with a couple of clusters to the top and bottom of the photo.. 

I love how this layout turned out and I am super happy that I was able to record this memory for my little girl to look back on one day.
