A weekend with " BoBunny" layout

Good Evening :)

Today I have had one of the BEST days where I feel super organised.. I managed to get a heap of jobs done at home, along with some spring cleaning!! Sheesh it feels good to off load a heap of "stuff' that I have just been hanging onto " just in case" I need it one day . ( I bet now in the next few days I will need something from that pile..lol)

So I wanted to pop back in and share a layout that I created for my BoBunny design team application.. This was a layout that I have had on my mind to make since I received the "Allora" collection in my lap. I LOVE the bright colours and the paper just screams fussy cut!!

But creating this layout did not come with out it's dramas let me assure you. I decided last minute to apply for the team ( mainly because I was doubting myself for a while) so when push came to shove I was in a crunch to get this layout creates. SOOOOOOO when this happened

You could just imagine the panic and expletives that followed in quick succession!! But after a quick meltdown I pulled myself together and convinced myself that this was a challenge that would make my page "better" .. I just didn't see it at the start!! So after letting the ink dry and dabbing the photo a million times ( as it was all over the photo) I had time to think about a game plan..

Rubons....

Yep .. rubons where going to be my saviour here.. so I started to madly create a back ground of randomly placing rubbons over the black ink..

Then it came down to fussy cutting like a mad woman and creating some "depth" to help de track from the area..ha ha .. In the end I was really happy with the end result.. and I guess BoBunny did to ;)

So in the end this was the layout..

And here are some close ups :)

So in the end .. after the panic and meltdown that I felt for a little bit, I was able to "save" the layout and make something good out of a not good situation..

Thanks so much for looking and I will be back to share the rest of my application layouts..

Much Love
Bernii xx
