A weekend with " Week 51" project life layout.

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world. Today I have another project life spread that I have finally completed for my 2013 album.. I rummaged through my stash and pulled out my Dear Lizzie goodies and managed to make a little dent in the enormous stash I have..

So let me show you what I have created ..

I also pulled out a packet of Freckled Fawn wooden words that I have been holding onto and hoarding. So it was a great feeling to be able to finally use them :)

A weekend with " Enjoy the weekend" layout for Sugar Maple Paper Co.

Welcome back today to my little part of the blogging world.

I have another layout share ( my 3rd already) from the Sugar Maple Paper Co " My Whole World" kit. I have been LOVING this kit and creating up a storm! I teamed up again with another gorgeous cut fie that I grabbed from the Neat N Crafty cut file store , Heart Set which you can grab from HERE.

I wanted to play with something a little bit different so I dusted off my Kaisercraft acrylic paints and got to scrapping the paint all over the back ground!! I love how variegated it turned out..

So let me show you what I created :)

I enlarged the heart cut file to fit the whole A4 portrait size and backed it with different paper pieces. I tried to stay with all the pinks with only a hint of black and white to match the photo.

A weekend with " Week 53" project life layout.

Welcome back to my little part in the blogging world.. Today I have another project life layout that I have finally caught up on for my 2013 album.

This layout was based on using the " Strawberry" core kit from Becky Higgins, and sprinkled with some Simple Stories, Heidi Swapp and Studio Calico goodness.

I love the bright colours from this kit and I never tire from using it.

So let me show you what I have created and some close ups..

I have to say it was really nice scrapping these photos from a few years ago , as I had already forgotten some of these moments.. But as soon as I saw the photos the memories came back :)

A weekend with "Abby I love You " layout for Sugar Maple Paper Co.

Welcome back to my little part of the blogging world!!

Today I have a layout share for you using the gorgeous Sugar Maple Paper Co " My Whole World" kit teamed with the gorgeous Neat N Crafty "Leaves Set " which you can get HERE.

I used only one of the leaves from the cut file set and repeated the same leaf pattern around my photo .. I backed a few them also with papers from the kit and then used some matching thread to sew through the centres of the leaves.

It is a fairly simple layout as I wanted more than anything to have the photo stand out :)

A weekend with " Week 52" project life layout.

Well I can FAINLLY say that I have completed my 2013 project life album the other week and it feels to good that it is out of my UFP pile!!! Better late then never I say..

It was also a good feeling to dip into my Simple Stories stash that I have had tucked away here for some time now.

So let me show you how I completed my week 52 spread for my 2013 album :)

I even pulled out my old MAMBI white photo sticker overlays and managed to use a few on some of these photos. Go me!!

A weekend with " All Smiles " layout for Sugar Maple Paper Co.

Well I have had a little scrapbooking hiatus due to personal reasons and circumstances and I can safely say that  I am slowly getting back into the creative vibe again. I lost all creative mojo so stepping back for a little bit was good for me. I am not fully back to creating and don't want to force it - as I don't want to hate the process or feel obliged in some way. So I am creating when I want to and not if I am not feeling like it :) It is working well for me right at this time.

So in saying that I have been very lucky to still keep one of my design team gigs with the super wonderful Sugar Maple Paper Co. I have had this "My Whole World" kit in my stash for more months than I care to remember and it was great to pull it out an get creating..

So let me show you what I created:)

This is a sweet photo of my daughter and I from a few years back that I love, and I knew I wanted to use the heart paper from the kit and fussy cut some of those gorgeous pink hearts.

Then for some reason I added in these super cute cactus' that I also fussy cut from one of the papers :) 

I love how this layout came together :)

A weekend with " Purpose " Art Journal layout for Sugar Maple Paper Co.

Well I thought I would kick of my blogging with this Art Journal layout that I created with the Sugar Maple Paper Co kit  " My Whole World" which you can spy and purchase over HERE.

I am slowly dipping my toe back into the creative world, which I have missed so much.. and to start with I got messy and journaled my little heart out..

So let me show you what I have created  :)

I have really missed getting messy in this book - and I love how it is something I can walk away from and come back to at anytime .

I based this entry around the beautiful Pink Paislee Moonstruck floral paper which I fussy cut and added in random spots. I then added some Neat N Crafty leaf cut files to bring in some white spots around the page.

A weekend with " All good things " Layout and process video .

Today I have a layout and process video share with you using the gorgeous Hazelwood collection by 1 canoe 2 .  I have been on a crafting binge creating with this collection and have almost managed to use up this entire collection already!! 

I based this layout around the free cut file that I grabbed from the Paper Issue store ( you can find the link HERE) as I am trying to make more of an effort to use my Portrait!! So this cut file was perfect :)

A weekend with " Project Life Week 41"

Welcome back to my little part in the blogging world. 

Today I have a project life layout share with you.. I am madly playing catch up, and this is week 41 from 2013. For this spread I used the Becky Higgins "Spring" Themed Cards which made this spread come together super duper fast :) I then just rifled through some bits and bobs that were on my desk to add a few embellishments that matched..

So let me show you what I have created :)

And here is a closer look. I had a few special little 3x4 cards that my daughter had put stickers on - so too add those to my layout I used a Close to my Heart 3 x 4 clear plastic pocket that adheres right to the top of my and flips up.. I have had these in my stash for a long time and finally pulled them out to use them and I LOVE them!! 

I just stapled on some tabs to the side of the pocket so that it was easy to lift up and know that they are there..

But I have decided to take a little different approach and use my notebooks to create miniature scrapbook layouts using pictures that would not necessarily make a full 12x12 layout, but they still have little memories with them that I want to record..
