Well I have had a SUPER productive Sunday in my craft room!! I swear between getting back into my running routine ( so good to clear the mind )and the totally awesome new Amy Tangerine " Stitched" collection I managed to create 3 layouts in just one morning!! I love when that happens!! I grabbed my goodies from Michelle who owns the awesome store The Stamp Spot and you can find this collection HERE.
Normally to look at this collection I would have skipped past it , as I tend to go for brighter collections.. BUT as I love flowers this collection caught my eye.. Then Michelle sent some to me in another order I had with her and I am SOOOOO glad that she did..
It was the first time in a long time, where I literally pulled it out of the package and went straight to my scrapbooking desk!! I was so inspired by the soft watercolours contrasting with the graphic prints and had a million ideas of how to play with the papers..
I managed to create 4 layouts from the papers, alpha sheet and transparent stickers that i recieved!! I LOVE being able to stretch my supplies that much!!
So today i just wanted to share with you one of the layouts I made ( Ill be back later to share the others) that I am sooo happy with how it turned out..
If you have followed my blog for a little while you would know that I have a thing for wreaths
.. And as soon as I saw this floral paper from the collection and the script thickers I knew I wanted to create something that I will end up displaying my lounge room..
I could fussy cut this paper till the cows come home.. it is that gorgeous and inspiring! I am thinking I may just need to buy some more and hoard it for later use!!
I had this tiny photo laying on my desk that I was going to use in my Project Life album but decided to actually build the quote around that photo..
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope that I have not scared or mortified you with all my fussy cutting ha ha. I will be back to share the other layouts that I managed to create also with this stunning collection!!
Till next time
Much love
Bernii xx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I am in awe of your fussy cutting. I would never think to cut out all those individual flowers and turn them into a wreath. Thanks so much for sharing!
